Need help with writing a thesis or research project?
For help in developing research proposals, writing a thesis, or research project, the following are our considerations on how we regulate the research supervision experience:
Creative anxiety and initiating research positively:
Initiating research, and preparing yourself to produce indigenous and novel work is a continual source of creative anxiety especially among beginners in research: if the work will be rated either as obsolete or would it have some intellectual value?
In addition to that, researchers are generally found worried in the context of foresight: whether the research notion would be manageable or not in the due course of time? Do I need to follow the ‘top to down’ or the ‘bottom-up approach, are the kind of questions, that lead to apprehensions and low self-esteem among researchers.
By reviewing the major and minor works, we furnish a lead-led strategy so that the academic value of each of the stances may be pretested and synchronized with the further plan of work. This strategy enables us to decompose the level of difficulty into parts and is a source of high internal consistency of the document.
Research gaps and searching for valued research hypotheses:
Finding gaps in the literature and striving for a hypothesis with substantive academic value is a concern that is generally been faced by researchers, who are trying to gain a respectable rating in their thesis or research project.
For beginners in research, we urge to differentiate among obsolete, contemporary, and forthcoming research notions, so that the intellectual worth of the proposed research may be anticipated, early.
In order to do that effectively, we have to rely heavily on key databases of academic literature such as the Jstor, Science Direct, Springer Link, Sage, etc. so that any research notion may strongly be grounded in literature. As research supervisors we have to make sure that the research notion is indigenous, and that the proposed work is not affected by the ‘bounded rationality’: too little knowledge.
Choosing a suitable research design, and the data analysis methodology:
The prime focus is laid upon choosing an appropriate research design and the data analysis methodology that can closely approximate analytical needs, the nature of the data in use, and the statement of the research hypothesis.
Keeping in view the orientation of research towards quantitative or qualitative research designs, we can supplement the use of packages such as R, Stata, SPSS, Minitab, and Nvivo.
Structuring the paper and research reporting:
In order to produce a presentable work, a detailed structure of the paper in form of chapter headings, headings, and subheadings is considered a prerequisite. And finally, we need to use some style format for in-text citations, and in order to furnish references.
Task management:
Sometimes researchers are asked to submit a time plan, at the stage of submission of the research proposal. For that matter, we can furnish a Gantt chart so that all major activities as part of research along with the timeline, may appropriately be furnished.
About the Supervisor:
The research supervisor has diversified and multidisciplinary research interests, in the domains of social sciences and in humanities.
Has 17 years experience in academic research, including roles as thesis supervisor, senior research fellow, and research coordinator.
Has supervised theses in domains of Business administration, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, and Psychology.
An author of 13 journal articles, and participated in international conferences.
Reviews and recommendations
Shirin Hakim
Perfect! He is very knowledgeable in the scientific methods and was able to help me establish a robust understanding of the most appropriate methodologies for my study, something I have been struggling with for so long on my own. He is very professional, kind, and helpful. I would highly recommend working with him on any methodological work.
He has played a monumental role in the progress of my doctorate work and I am so grateful to have him as a mentor!
Michael
Superb! He proved to be incredibly trustworthy and knowledgeable, given his extensive background as a thesis advisor.
Not only was he available to help me grasp econometric and quantitative topics I struggled with but he was also available to review the overall structure of my thesis, assisting with support of appropriate sections and selecting a clear but highly appropriate thesis title, something which I did not have prior to our meeting.
Over the three weeks spent working with him, I truly believe that he allowed me to bring my overall thesis up to a first-class standard paper (fingers crossed!), given where I originally sat.
Sumaira
Highly recommended for all those who want to master research skills and produce exceptionally high-quality indigenous research projects/dissertations under the supervision of the finest faculty and supervisor. The professor is at the core of a system designed to provide individual attention throughout the course while maintaining the highest international standards of academic excellence.
Smith
Superb! I learned a lot about the use of quantitative tools for the analysis of the data and how to structure my thesis, from him. Sheer competence and absolutely recommended!
Shahrzad
Marvelous! He paid full attention and his time to my proposed plan of research, with care and dedication. He is precise, competent, and impeccable. I am very grateful to him for making me survive in my dissertation.
Edmar
Superb experience of learning, as I grasped lots of thoughtful know-how from your guidance! It really helped me understand the difficult stages of my research proposal and concepts of quantitative methods, such as Logistics and Poisson regression models.
The way you explain things is clear, direct, and self-explanatory. I really like your style of guidance as it makes me comfortable especially at difficult stages of my thesis.
Olange
Perfect! He is keen, competent, and stable-headed. Manages the time and difficult situations, effectively. Highly recommended for troubleshooting as part of thesis or in the domain of quantitative modeling.
Sandre
Superb! Passionate, enthusiastic, and above all a cool person with a natural inclination to approach rather complex quantitative situations. His knowledge and exposure to deal with quantitative research seem to be deeply grounded.
His worthy guidance and comments may especially be seen as invaluable for research students, persons who are doing a thesis for the first time in their life, and for those who seek guidance in quantitative methods.
Andrew
He has a strong grasp of applied model building, research designs, and methodological paradigms. He can delicately choose a suitable methodology, with a reasonable understanding of the efficacy of tools as well as limitations of a said method.
He is naturally inclined to use quantitative modeling skills in his coaching and thesis supervision experience. Much recommended.
Siva
Fabulous and excellent in coaching and problem-solving skills, specifically in research and quantitative methods! Dedicated and able to manage things, quickly! He provides unparalleled professional support, guidance, and problem-solving assistance.
There is no doubt that his professional competence is at a very high level. He is conscientious and orderly, as I experienced him as genuinely committed to doing his utmost to help me become as good as possible.
He responded quickly to all my inquiries, which made progress in my work on the subject. And he has commendable writing expression.
